About Momentum
momentum can help you move foreward.
Meet Jillian.
Licensed Massage Therapist | M.S. Sports Science & Rehabilitation
Former collegiate athlete. Coach. Movement enthusiast. Lifelong student of the human body.
My passion has always centered around understanding how the body moves, responds, adapts, and performs—and helping people discover what they're capable of.
"Movement creates momentum. Intention gives it direction."
My Journey
From the Field to the Treatment Table.
My journey began as a competitive softball player, eventually taking me to the collegiate level, including Division I softball at Indiana State University.
As an athlete, I learned firsthand how training, recovery, preparation, and mental toughness influence performance. As a coach, I began looking beyond sport-specific skills to the movement foundations that help athletes prepare for the demands of competition.
Dynamic warmups, mobility, core stability, balance, coordination, and body awareness became essential parts of how I approached athletic development. I believe these foundations deserve as much attention as strength and sport-specific training.
That interest led me deeper into exercise science, rehabilitation, and therapeutic bodywork—where I could combine my understanding of movement with hands-on techniques to support people with a much wider range of goals.
Experience That Goes Beyond Sports
Different Bodies. Different Stories. Different Needs.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with people across different ages, abilities, and stages of life.
My experience includes working with individuals living with Parkinson's disease, fibromyalgia, scoliosis and spinal surgery histories, as well as prenatal clients, active adults, and youth athletes.
I have also worked extensively with baseball and softball athletes, with particular interest in overhead movement, repetitive physical demands, recovery, and the movement patterns involved in throwing and hitting.
These experiences have reinforced something I believe deeply: no two bodies arrive with the same history, and no single technique is appropriate for everyone.
The person comes before the technique.

Why I Created Momentum
Movement Creates Momentum. Intention Gives It Direction.
I chose the name Momentum because progress isn't always about doing more, pushing harder, or moving faster. Sometimes it begins with slowing down, understanding what's happening in your body, and making a purposeful change.
Our bodies are constantly adapting to the demands we place on them. Some adaptations help us move forward. Others can contribute to tension, restrictions, or challenges in how we move and function.
Momentum was created to bring together my background in sports science, rehabilitation, coaching, and therapeutic bodywork in a way that helps people better understand their bodies and take an active role in their progress.
Progress is a partnership.
